26 Fall Fashions and Ideas

So this is my first fall in FOUR years where the weather is actually going to get cool enough to wear things like sweaters, scarves, jackets, and boots. Yay!! I thought I’d pick up a little polyvore inspiration and share with you some great fall inspiration outfits.

Here are some easy ways to bring your wardrobe from summer to fall:

1. Outerwear: Jackets, coats, cardigans, and sweaters. Take any of your summer tanks or short-sleeved shirts and pair them with the perfect cropped jacket or V-neck cardigan. Keep a lookout at stores like Target and Old Navy for sales on these basic items and stock up. They are very versatile! Or if you have and old one you can refashion it with some lace or fabric to update it.

2. Boots: With the skinny jeans and legging trend, boots are the perfect cold weather shoe. I cannot tell you how much I love boots. It’s obsessive. I have only five pairs myself (trust me, a boot lover understands that five pairs is NOT that many) but I’m always on the lookout for great ones at a good price. Boots are great for keeping your feet warm, especially if you wear a thick kneesock under it (you know, with the top peeking out.) If you don’t think you can pull off boots, trust me…you can.

3. Accessories: The Go-to fall accessory is a scarf. You can buy cheap ones at stores like Target and Wal-mart and have lots of different things to choose from. There are tons of ways to wear them and they keep your neck nice and toasty. But they do add weight to your face, so if you wear your hair down, choose a small stud earring. Hats are also something you might consider. I used to wear hats all the time but haven’t done that in awhile. Caps confuse me…I never know if my ears should be inside or outside.
